to the National Assemblyfor the THAAD Deployment”
Deployment of Terminal High Altitude Area Defense (THAAD) began months earlier than expected yesterday. It is a politically motivated move as the early presidential election looms large. Moreover, it is an elaborate scheme to ensure deployment before the next administration decides otherwise.
THAAD is hardly crucial for the US-ROK military alliance. It was covertly deployed in the middle of the night. This is a clear infringement of sovereignty. We will take necessary steps for National Assembly’s ratification. We strongly demand the government to submit a ratification motion to the National Assembly.
As impeachment verdict draws near, President Park supporters are embarrassingly attempting to alter public opinion. It has been reported that 56 Korea Liberty Party members filed a petition against impeachment anonymously, too ashamed to even reveal their names.
The interim leader of the ruling party, In Myung-jin, stated that the impeachment will help the Korea Liberty Party win public sympathy on the contrary.
It is to undermine the fairness of the Independent Counsel by accusing them of violating human rights. Choi Soon-sil is said to have even filed a complaint against the Independent Counsel Law to the Constitutional Court for violating the Constitution.
Their actions convey to appeal against the Court’s decision and to embroil our society into further turmoil. In this regard, the Constitutional Court must adamantly agree on a unanimous impeachment in order to prevent further disruption and division of our society.
We strongly urge the National Intelligence Service to cease interference and monitoring on the Constitutional Court.

“사드배치 정부의 국회비준안 제출을 강력히 요구한다”
어제 급작스럽게 사드 배치가 시작됐다. 조기 대선을 염두에 둔 대선용 배치라고 보인다. 또한 차기정권에서 논의조차 못하게 만들겠다는 알박기 배치다.
한미군사동맹의 핵심도 아닌 사드에 대해서 비밀리에 한밤중에 한반도에 배치한다는 것은 명백한 주권침해다. 의회의 비준 절차를 밟도록 하겠다. 정부의 국회비준안 제출을 강력히 요구한다.
헌재의 탄핵심판을 앞두고 친박세력들의 낯 뜨거운 여론전이 펼쳐지고 있다. 자유한국당 56명 의원들은 자신들의 이름을 떳떳하게 밝히지도 못한 채 탄원서를 제출했다고 한다.
반면 인명진 비대위원장은 ‘탄핵이 인용되면 자유당에 대한 동정론이 확산될 것’이라고 했다.
대통령 측은 특검수사의 인권침해 운운하면서 특검의 정당성을 훼손하고자 하고, 심지어 최순실은 특검법에 대해 위헌 법률심판을 신청했다고 한다.
탄핵 심판에 대해 여차하면 불복하고 사회 혼란을 부추기겠다는 사전 포석이 아닐 수 없다. 그런 점에서 헌법재판소는 만장일치로 탄핵 인용을 해 더 이상의 사회 혼란과 국론 분열이 없도록 단호하게 결정해야 한다.
국정원은 헌재에 대한 어떤 사찰도, 관여도 중단해야 한다는 것을 강력히 촉구한다.
